I recently had my 1984 Honda Magna apart for some work. Upon putting things back together I found excessive drag in the front brakes. On the test ride the front brakes locked up completely. When applying the brake lever the pressure seems to build in the lines and not release. After a few squezees their is so much pressure that the brake lever will no longer move. I have had both calipers professionally cleaned and the problem persists.

Thinking about renewing my warranty, they are asking about two thousand for 4 years, bumper to bumper. Do you think thats a good deal. Any suggestions are questions I should ask the dealer. Appreciate any info, I don’t want to get ripped off, thanx..

I have researched a bit on the net and have found that drum brakes on the rear are perfectly fine for normal vehicles on road, but for off-road vehicles, when these are driven through water and muddy terrain, drum brakes tend to perform less efficiently. Also, they tend to lock-up under these circumstances, and also when driven in reverse.
So I am planning on using disc brakes on all 4 wheels.
People, please help me decide which is a good option. Are drum brakes really disadvantageous from ATV point of view?

I just bought a used convertible? What should I know about the top? How can I preserve it?
Also, its lost its color. Is there a way to restore it?

1999 Infiniti with 212K miles. Had belt replaced because of bad squeeling. Squeeling still persists and now power steering is very tight when cold. When warmed up, better steering but still feel funky. Fluid level is fine but looks dirty. Fluid not clear. Help please! Thanks!

I’m looking to buy a pickup truck in the next few months, possibly new. I’m on a relatively tight budget so was wondering what you found was the best ‘bang for your buck’. I’m not looking for anything extravagant but I want a good hearty car that will last me for a good while. Thanks.

Also, is there any way you can drain the power steering fluid to a maximum level and get the car to running again? My car lost all its power as I was driving and completely stopped on me. I had to pull over, nothing was smoking, no bad fumes or nothing. It just lost all its power. It’s a manual car. I overfilled my power steering fluid level by accident and now my car will not drive. It acts like it will start but not enough power after it gave out on me while driving.
